Cloud Development & Deployment Consulting
Our onshore architects move, modernize and run applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or our own infrastructure, and we'll tell you plainly what shouldn't move at all.
Cloud Engineering, Done Deliberately
Most cloud projects don't fail on technology. They fail on scope: everything gets migrated, the bill climbs, and the old problems arrive in a new data center. We start from the other end: what your applications actually need to be fast, secure and affordable. Then we build only that.
The same in-house team that designs your architecture writes the code and runs the deployment pipeline. There's no hand-off between an advisory firm, an offshore build team and a separate operations vendor.
What WeDeliver
From a single application to a full platform, with the same engineering discipline end to end.
Migration & Modernization
We move legacy applications to the cloud and modernize them on the way: re-platforming, containerizing or rewriting only where it pays for itself.
Cloud-Native & Kubernetes
Containerized services on Docker and Kubernetes, managed through Rancher, that scale out under load and recover on their own.
CI/CD & GitOps
Automated build, test and release pipelines in Azure DevOps, with Argo CD keeping every environment in step with what's in Git.
Cost Control
Right-sized infrastructure, reserved and spot capacity where it fits, and a clear view of what each workload costs, including the ones that are cheaper to leave where they are.
Security & Compliance
Least-privilege access, encrypted data, patched images and audit trails, designed in from the start for regulated work in healthcare and finance.
Monitoring & Support
Centralized logs, metrics and dashboards on the Elastic Stack, with our team watching and maintaining the platform after launch.
Where Your WorkloadsRun
We build for the platform that suits the workload, without locking you in.
Amazon Web Services
Broad managed services and global reach. We build and manage California Financial Services' system on AWS.
Microsoft Azure
A natural fit for .NET estates and Microsoft-centric organizations, with Azure DevOps already at the heart of how we deliver.
Google Cloud
Strong data and analytics services. Carszy, a driver safety and messaging app we built, runs on Google Cloud with Kubernetes, Rancher and Argo CD.
Baytech Cloud
Our own in-house infrastructure, built on Harvester HCI and Kubernetes, for clients who want us to host and run the application end to end.
How an Engagement Runs
Every engagement follows our five-step plan, adapted for infrastructure work. You get an upfront agreement on cost and timing before anything moves.
We inventory your applications, data and dependencies, measure what they use today, and flag what shouldn't move.
A written plan with the order of work, the target architecture, the cost to build and the projected monthly running cost, agreed before we start.
We design the foundation: networking, identity, environments, pipelines and monitoring, sized for the next few years rather than the next few weeks.
Workloads move in small, reversible steps with automated tests and rollbacks, so the business keeps running while we work.
After launch we monitor, patch and tune, and we review costs regularly, because a cloud bill that nobody watches only goes up.
We Run It forYou
For most clients we don't just build the system. We keep it running, on our own servers or on Amazon Web Services.
Watched Around the Clock
We monitor uptime and performance day and night, and respond when something goes wrong.
Errors Caught Early
Every error is logged and tracked, so we often fix a problem before anyone reports it.
Tested Before Release
Every change passes automated tests before it goes live. On Quest's system, that's about 8,900 of them.
Safe, Automatic Releases
Updates ship through automated pipelines, with a sign-off before anything reaches production.
Backups and Security Updates
Data is backed up automatically, and servers and software are kept patched.
Room to Grow
When your business grows, we add capacity before you feel it slowing down.
Systems We Build and RunToday
Real clients, running on infrastructure we manage.
Quest Industries
Mold tooling and machining, Michigan
Problem: Quoting and jobs ran across five disconnected systems on servers in their own building, which had to be replaced every few years.
What we did: Built one system to replace them all, moved 7.4 million records across in seven and a half minutes with zero errors, and now run it for them online.
Result: Quoting is “like 80% faster,” and the system works on phones and tablets on the shop floor.
Pacific Southwest Container
Packaging manufacturer, 1,000+ employees
Problem: Recycling pickups, logistics and food-safety audits ran on spreadsheets and email.
What we did: Built three apps used from forklift-mounted computers on the floor, and host and run them for PSC.
Result: “I wouldn't trust anyone else with our most important systems.” Mitch Taylor, VP of IT
California Financial Services
Funding for school-district facilities
Problem: Their school-district clients had no tools of their own for financial reporting and approvals.
What we did: Built an online system for reports, document approvals and signatures, and manage it for them on Amazon Web Services.
Result: Reports, approvals and signatures in one place, with no separate e-signature service.
Financial Planning Ministry
Nonprofit estate planning
Problem: An aging estate-planning system on their own servers, split into pieces that didn't stay in sync.
What we did: Replaced it with one connected system for collecting member details and generating wills and trusts, and moved it onto our servers.
Result: Faster and more reliable than the system it replaced, with no servers for their staff to look after.
American Allied Health
National certification for medical careers
Problem: Two years with another firm had produced little.
What we did: Built their online school (courses, exams, certificates and a partner portal) and run it on our servers.
Result: Average monthly revenue up more than 20% after launch.
RealSource Partners
Commercial real estate
Problem: A small team pulling site data by hand from spreadsheets, databases and PDF reports.
What we did: Built Pulse, a map-based tool with all of their data in one place, and have kept it running since 2010.
Result: Revenue up 800% within two years of moving to the new platform.
Sell Your Boards
Electronics recycling buyback
Problem: The business ran on a Squarespace site, emailed orders and payout spreadsheets.
What we did: Built a self-service platform with prepaid shipping labels and order tracking, and run its back end on our infrastructure.
Result: Switched over with zero downtime, then 47 orders and $4,171 paid out in the first week.
Petra Medical College
Healthcare career college
Problem: A previous firm had spent two years on their online school with little to show for it.
What we did: Built staff, partner and student portals and a public site, and run it all on our servers.
Result: Delivered in five months, on time and under budget.
Costera
Waste transport and environmental services
Problem: The only software on the market was too expensive, didn't fit how they worked, and wouldn't let them control their own data.
What we did: Built their operations system for quotes, jobs, invoices and government hazardous-waste forms.
Result: About 600 jobs a year run through it: “a one-stop-shop.” Mike Bruno, VP
