The Agile methodology advocates an adaptive approach to planning that values early delivery and continual improvement, even when user requirements change frequently. The Manifesto for Agile Software Development describes the values and principles of Agile development, which is based on earlier frameworks such as Kanban and Scrum.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has the potential to gather large amounts of data at the edge of a network.
